Nestled in the charming village of Josselin, Le 14 St Michel turned out to be a delightful surprise during our cycling trip. We were initially disheartened to be redirected at the last moment, but stepping into this beautiful 19th-century stone house quickly made us feel at home. Each of the five uniquely designed rooms offers polished wooden floors and expansive garden views, providing an inspiring touch for a fellow architect like me. The breakfast is nothing short of a treat, featuring local products and delectable homemade crepes – a perfect fuel for our daily adventures. The cozy lounge with its inviting fireplace was a lovely spot for unwinding after a day's exploration, and the peaceful ambiance of Josselin only added to the whole experience. If you’re looking to blend a sense of tranquility with rustic charm, this B&B’s spacious and well-equipped rooms, complemented by a nurturing host, could be just the architectural landmark experience you are seeking. Trust me, it’s worth the detour!
